For our Spring 2015 collection we did a collaboration with Danish artist Jens Paldam. His works have caught our eye on several exhibitions. The collab ended up with a great looking t-shirt, which now is available in selected shops globally.
Q & A

How would you describe your work?
I use the same brand of water colours that I have been using since 1996. I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I paint whatever comes to mind without censoring myself. There, now that I have written it, it will be so :)
What is your creative process like?
I paint standing up, listening to music. I (almost) never plan or sketch the motive in advance - I like to make it up as I go along. This way, the process becomes about inventing something, rather than the realization of a preconceived idea.
Has your style changed over the years?
Some, but not too much. My principal modus operandi remains unchanged.
What do you believe is a key element in creating a good composition?
Suspension of the conscious mind while painting, or put in other words, not thinking about it.
How was it making a collab with Journal
I has been an absolutely great experience! I was very happy to have been asked, and I liked Journals clothing and style right away. I hope that we can collaborate again in the future.
What are you working on now?
Right now I am working on some large paintings that will be difficult to sell, so I might keep them.
